I am a New York City producer, musician, and composer and New Warsaw Studio is my musical home where I focus 20+ years of experience on arranging, recording and performing original audio content.
I have guided hundreds of songs from pre-production to final master garnering Independent Music Awards, Production Music Awards and a Jazz Bell Award (Australia); composed and produced music for an Emmy-winning HBO documentary, a PBS series, an IFC film, and national TV and Radio commercials; performed live on network TV and syndicated radio; and played countless gigs as lead guitarist in New York City and across the world from Lincoln Center in NYC to SXSW in Austin to the Lille Music Festival in France.
I spent the 1990’s grunge era with my DC-based rock band Big Black Nun touring and recording. This was an amazing crash course in rock ‘n roll as I received an advance as a writer from SESAC, played hundreds of shows up and down the East Coast and got to see the inside of studios like Electric Lady, The Power Station and The Carriage House while working with producer Warren Bruleigh and session drummer Tal Bergman (Billy Idol, Rod Stewart, Peter Cetera, Joe Bonamassa).
In the late 90’s, I landed my first gig as a producer, moved to NYC, joined the award-winning band Spottiswoode & His Enemies and began working with an ever-growing list of clients in a wide variety of sounds and styles. The last two decades have found me deftly moving between collaborations with songwriters, filmmakers and corporations creating albums, soundtracks and television commercials. If it needs sound, I’m your man.
