BUST Magazine has premiered Meghann Wright’s video for the song “River” from her Blacktop Records release “Nothin’ Left to Lose”.
From BUST.com: Brooklyn-based blues rocker Meghann Wright is back with a stunning music video for her song “River,” premiering exclusively on BUST.com today. The haunting video cuts between Meghann singing in a graveyard and a spooky, bloody exorcism. “Don’t go down to the river, baby,” Meghann sings. “‘Cause ain’t nobody waiting for you there.”
The track was produced and mixed at New Warsaw Studio and features Meghann on vocals/acoustic, Andrew Nesbitt on drums and myself on bass, electric guitar, lap steel, organ and percussion. The three of us laid down the stomp-clap breakdown in the big hallway of my building Brooklyn Fireproof. Mastered by Mike Kalajian at Rogue Planet Mastering.
