Falling for Frankie Debut EP

Falling for Frankie – the vehicle for French post-modern chanteuse Delphine Godin – has released their debut on the Paris-based label SuperPitch.

It was great being a part of the EP as I’ve worked with Delphine off and on since the early 2000’s – recording and producing tracks for her and serving as musical director for her one-woman show “Prim Butterfly” — before she moved back to Paris in 2005.

This album found Delphine returning to NYC and asking me to track vocals, cello and even adding some of my own glockenspiel chops to the track “Unforgiven” – which showcases Afrobeat drumming sensation Tony Allen.

Shared an arrangement credit with album producer Thomas Couzinier on a cover of PJ Harvey’s “Down by the Water”.
