As the world comes together to acknowledge that Black Lives Matter, Minnie Dee has released a new single addressing race from a very personal perspective. Honored to have co-produced, mixed and played bass on this timely track.
In Minnie’s own words…
It’s not enough to know that there is systemic racism, we all need to do our part in helping change happen. We all have the power to make change happen!
Proceeds of my song “It’s not Easy Being Brown”, will be donated to “Color for Change.” It’s a great organization that helps build up Black & Brown communities, holds corporate and political leaders accountable and helps pass legislation for change, and works on bridging the gap with research on systematic racism and inequality to help motivate justice to transform our world.
