ROYO has just released his third album Eggshell. Like his 2017 release “From the Celestial Factory”, this record was co-produced, mixed and mastered by me here at New Warsaw Studio. This third album testifies to ROYO’s continually evolving avant-pop style and showcases short but effective songs cloaked in sonic collages and focused rhythms.
ROYO asks and encourages that I flex some often unused production chops and think outside the box so I had a great time contributing to the music – even adding ambient lap steel guitar on Track 1 – The Long Path – in addition to my production role.
