Spottiswoode & His Enemies’ 2014 release “English Dream” has been nominated for “Best Adult Contemporary Album of the Year” by the Independent Music Awards.
2014 IMA Nominations for Best Adult Contemporary Album
Producing this collection of songs by Jonathan Spottiswoode and played by my fellow Enemies John Young bass, Tim Vaill drums, Candace DeBartolo sax/vocals, Kevin Cordt trumpet/vocals, and Tony Lauria keys/accordion was a pleasure. Big piano, chimey guitars, deep grooves, soaring horns and lush layered vocals.

Artful basic tracking by John Davis at The Bunker Studio (oh that EMT 140 plate!) and overdubs and mixing at New Warsaw Studio. Mastered by Fred Kevorkian at Kevorkian Mastering.
