Spottiswoode & His Enemies return to NYC’s lower east side for a four show residency at the Living Room on March 9 and 23 and April 7 and 21.

Spottiswoode & His Enemies will enjoy a Sunday night residency at the Living Room in the LES of NYC throughout the month of October. Each week will feature a different theme and song selection – Pastoral, Rock, Solo, and Jazz – and then culminate in a big October 30 Halloween set.

During the course of the month I will play a Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty, Gibson ES-335, Metz Buckaroo 2 (Bigsby-like custom retro red guitar), Gibson A50 mandolin, glockenspiel, egg shaker, maraca, Hohner Melodica, sing background vocals and fire a confetti gun.

Dave Lott’s new two song EP – Deux – is mixed and mastered. The Eric Silverman (Silvertone) produced songs were tracked at New Warsaw Studio and mixed by Adam Landry (Middle Brother, Deertick) at Playground Sound Studio in Nashville, TN.

Will be making records with two talented young artists at the studio over the next few months – Westchester County, NY high school senior, Tom D’Augustino (a.k.a. Engines) and Cornell freshman, Nora N. Sch who joins One Left as the new singer and gives the band the new moniker of Nora and One Left.

Age is definitely no measure of talent.

The song “Gonna Walk Away” from the New Warsaw Studio produced album by Minnie Dee will appear on the new Paris Hilton show “The World According to Paris” on Oxygen.

I will be MDing the Pirate Vinyl House Band – The Buccaneers – at the Pirate Vinyl Label Launch Party at The Bell House in Brooklyn, NY. Show will feature four artists I’ve produced at New Warsaw Studio – Susannah Conn, Caren Levine, Pete Sinjin and label founder Neil Nathan.

Spottiswoode & His Enemies celebrate the release our new album – Wild Goosechase Expedition – with a show at Joe’s Pub in New York City on April 21.

Pete Sinjin’s new record Better Angels Radio is moving up the charts and holding #10 for March 2011 on the Euro Americana charts. Co-produced with bassist Mike Davis and mixed by me at New Warsaw Studio, the record is rubbing elbows with Lucinda Williams, Buddy Miller, Amos Lee and the Drive By Truckers.

Recording at New Warsaw Studio with CASIO artist Josh Charles and his newly formed Stone Ramblers featuring me on guitar, mando, and steel, Dylan Wissing on drums and Jay Foote on bass.

Three songs from Spottiswoode & His Enemies album Salvation (produced by me at New Warsaw Studio) are in Matthew Chapman’s new feature film, THE LEDGE, starring Liv Tyler and Terrence Howard.
